Weeroona College Bendigo is a secondary school with nearly 800 students. Canteen manager Rebekah Hughes, with support from Sebastian Goscha, Health Promotion Officer at Bendigo Community Health Services, has led a transformation of the school’s canteen through the Vic Kids Eat Well movement.
At Kingsley Park Primary School in Frankston, Assistant Principal Matthew Brand enjoys welcoming new families with school tours. Student-led initiatives like soup and smoothie days, along with their nutritious canteen, reflect their whole-school commitment to health and student wellbeing.
Located in Victoria's South Gippsland Shire, St Joseph’s Primary School Korumburra has embraced a student-led approach for their breakfast club. They expanded their kitchen garden to support students to plant and harvest veggies such as pumpkin and zucchini. Students then created veggie-filled breakfast items like pumpkin and zucchini slice to enjoy in the morning before school.
Peter Krenz Leisure Centre, located in Bendigo’s Eaglehawk and managed by YMCA Victoria on behalf of the City of Greater Bendigo, is a vibrant sports and recreation facility offering kids swimming lessons, school holiday activities, court access and more.
Mallacoota P-12 College, nestled in East Gippsland, has proudly become the first school in Victoria to complete a breakfast club bite as part of the Vic Kids Eat Well movement.

Whorouly Primary School Outside School Hours Care Service (OSHC) has embraced a student-led approach to menu changes, resulting in new, tasty and nutritious food options for kids to enjoy.
When it comes to boosting nutritious food and drink options for young riders at Nowa Nowa Pony Club, fresh produce is their superstar ingredient. Located in East Gippsland, the club has a team of 15 horses and riders.

Kids at Merinda Park Learning and Community Centre make their own tasty and nutritious food options, thanks to their simple swaps with Vic Kids Eat Well.
Mulgrave Football Club has a nourishing and all-new canteen menu as part of Vic Kids Eat Well. The club also promotes water as the best hydration option and young players can grab a delicious banana or apple as a nutritious snack.

Ballarat Grammar School’s comprehensive approach to wellbeing has recently been boosted as they embraced a new movement to offer their 1800 students delicious and healthy options in the canteen.

To embark on their Vic Kids Eat Well journey, a canteen subcommittee was formed with a clear focus on providing good, wholesome, affordable food and promoting healthy options to students.
Rushworth College’s business manager said Vic Kids Eat Well provided structure to take small steps towards big outcomes with the school's renewed focus on providing kids with healthy food and drink options.
Campbellfield Heights Primary School joined Vic Kids Eat Well for support because student wellbeing is at the core of everything they do.
Cranbourne Carlisle OSHClub, an Outside School Hours (OSH) program in Melbourne’s outer southeast was part of the Junior Adventures Group (JAG) pilot program that saw 11 of their OSH programs across Victoria join Vic Kids Eat Well as a network.
